‧1960 The ex-Mei Yuan Co., Wun Yuan Print Shop was founded by Mr. He Ko Yu as a household factory located on Shue Chang Street, Taipei City.
‧1970 Mei Yuan Co. was formally named, located in Wan Hua District, Taipei City, its main production focused on processes for industry colleagues.
‧1980 Purchasing a 660-square-meter new factory building in Hsin Tien, while the head office remained in Wan Huan District, Mei Yuan began to enhance direct business contact with customers and produced for direct orders.
‧1986 By Sino-American Funds Loan, we built our Paper Box Factory in Chung Ho City, Taipei County in 1,850 square meters, and purchased a highly advanced automatic moding machine from Japan, as well as a domestically invented high-speed box-gluing machine.
‧1989 Purchase of the first Italian Automatic Rigid Box Set-Up Machine.
‧1990 Inaugurating the printing factory on Li Ter Street, Chung Ho City. Purchasing West-German Roland Printing Machines which moulded Mei Yuan as a consolidated production manufacturer. Leading Mei Yuan into a completely direct-contact sales and marketing era.
‧1992 Enterprise systematized and intranetized internally, introducing ERP managing system.
‧1995 Mei Yuan transformed into a high-value production manufacturer. Foreign Companies became our primary customers.
‧1996 President Howard Yu obtained the Golden Vanguard Award as Outstanding Enterprise Leader.
‧2000 Inaugurating new factory building in 7,100 square meters in Tu-Cheng Industrial District, Taipei County, and purchasing the highly advanced set of digital computer Roland 700 4-Color Printer, AutoCad Computer Packaging Design Plotter System, and installing two Packaging Conveyer-Belt Production Lines. Officially became the leading force of the industry.
‧2004 President Howard Yu elected as the highly honored Council Chairman of Taipei Paper Products Union, providing service and vision to the industry.
‧2006 Expanded to mainland China with strategic investments, planning operations in greater China area.
‧2012 Established headquarters in Chung Ho District (in Far East Century Plaza ), as the operation center for cross-strait businesses, research and design hubs for greater China area.
